Indeed. I've never been able to understand how people can be so convinced of their own culture that they think it is better to lock animals up in a human made 'farm' environment, fatten them up, then kill them, rather than just take an animal from it's natural environment.

Farm animals live in a controlled environment. We've used cattle for thousands of years, yet they've never been on the endangered species list.

Unfortunately, our 'management' of cattle this way has ruined much of the wilderness of the American West, as well as polluted streams, etc.
