The recent increase in the prices of oil might have a positive result, making the use and the development of alternative energy source more economic.

I am yet unsure if large scale development of alternative energy sources can be done privately but if so then it might be the way to go and anyway we look at the situation it might be the perfect time to stop subsiding the energy production market as a whole to give the alternative energies a fighting chance.
