All Libertarians agree. Heroin and all other forms of drug should be legalized.

Including the drug RU486.

In other words, until the advent of the industrial age made being high far too dangerous for society to tolerate.

In 1890, a farmer who grew a little cocaine beside the corn could do little damage. What was he going to do, crash his horse?

Imagine what an 18-wheel trucker could do with opium-induced paranoia. Now imagine a busload of libertarians in his way.

After 10 miles, assuming they live, you'll have a busload of Republicans.

Personally, I don't think we're taking this to its logical conclusion. We want an America-friendly government over there. We want to punish Americans who use the drugs. Ok, so just deport some of the drug users to Afghanistan, and draft the rest to serve in the Afghani guard. The drug users are happy, because they're surrounded by dirt cheap, primo grade drugs they can't get on the street, the Afghanis are happy, because they're safe and well guarded, the American public doesn't have to pay for prison overcrowding anymore, and the former Americans will rise to form the new government.

Why am I the only one to see the obvious solution?

What sort of monstrously stupid person are you? The Industrial Age came long before 1915 and US farmers never grew 'a little cocaine beside the corn'. Do you have any idea where cocaine comes from? Do you have any idea how much the Bush family has made from heroin over the years? So much the Soprano family would love just a taste of it & they'd be rich.
