Our day after Thanksgiving is long gone but as I recall, I didn't shop anyway. I seldom shop as in shopping just for something to do. If I 'need' something, it goes onto a list and is purchased our next trip into the nearest town. A trip won't be made unless it is a real necessity. If I 'want' something, it goes onto another list. Chances are good by the time I ever get around to the want list, I no longer want it

I do like buying online to save trips to town though if I can. Just recently I bought Clear Jel online delivered to our PO box within a 5 min walk of our house. I shop ebay too simply because I can get things there I can't get here and because I can do it wearing pj's and slippers

Oh, and I do like getting packages in the mail something that harkens back to my childhood days of the old Simpson-Sears catalogues. I get a lot more pleasure out of that than pushing a heavy, unco-operative cart down crowded isles full of tired parents toting equally tired kids. I'm sure Walmart and Target can easily live without my $10 - $20 purchases a year and still make a tidy
