To Whom It May Concern:

I received an e-mail on the slaughter of the Calderon Dolphin in the Faeroe Islands. I was horrified, to say the least. I cannot make sense how something like this is allowed by the Danish Government. The pictures portrayed people participating in a slaughter, some actually killing the dolphins while there were onlookers. The comment on having mostly teens slaughtering these beautiful animals as a passage into manhood was very sad. Where is your compassion? These mammals are known for their friendship with humans. They are intelligent animals lured into slaughter.
When is this going to Stop? When there are no Calderon Dolphins left to slaughter?
I am so saddened by this and want to help. What can I do?

I need to hear from you.

Check 'calderon dolphins slaughter' on google. There's a petition you can sign. There's a facebook group you can join.

Who in the Denmark government or Faroe Islands gov't can a person write to to protest the killing of the Calderon dolphins...not just a petition. Sometimes a letter from a reader can be impressive.

I think a petition is better unless the writer is some kind of a celebrity.

Where have all the worldwide environmental organizations been while this horrible massacre in Denmark is happening? Why have the international environmental groups been just an onlooker to the Calderon Dolphins' massacre?
Online petition is not enough for stopping this cruelty! We must take a more concrete step and do something more effective. We must spread all the news about the shame in Denmark all over the world on not only web but also TV media.Denmark must be ashamed of its cruel animal massacre, and immediately stop it!

The use of the media could get some better results but we need to find ways interest them about it.
