The Mosley Jones of Talk.Environment continues to throw names and then whine about 'pure ad hominem' (which he confuses with having his own words thrown back at him) and then throw a few more names.

Interested readers might like to consult Google for the number of Ebeling-authored threads with someone's name in them (e.g. mine). While other people have told G.E. his antics make him look a bit silly, apparently the lesson has been projected back onto me.

$ Every time you have an argument with someone and they not only refuse to $ cede you the last word, but also show you up for the sad, pathetic little $ glob of vomit on the footpath of life that you are, you start a new thread $ to have a whinge about how unfair it all is. You've done it with me and at $ least five other people in aus.pol in the past few weeks. Get it through $ your thick skull that every time you do this you proclaim to the world not $ only that you are a loser, but a bad loser at that.

ad hom·i·nem Pronunciation Key (hm-nm, -nm) adj. Appealing to personal considerations rather than to logic or reason.

For some reason Horsell thinks that because he is quoting old posts, that this somehow mean that they are not ad hominem statements.

Isn't 'Mosley Jones' a 'name'?

hy·poc·ri·sy Pronunciation Key (h-pkr-s) n. pl. hy·poc·ri·sies The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness. An act or instance of such falseness.

Although I doubt that anyone is interested, the same Google search will discover Russ's antics, and his many fans:

Here are two examples...

It is demonstrable that nearly all your postings are abrasive, rude and offensive to the person you are responding to. No amount of phony data manipulation will change this fact. Why are you using these diversionary tactics? Running out of arguments? Can't think of anything to say that isn't rude or abrasive or an ad hominem attack?

'Smarter: Horsell drifts off into ad hominem attacks rather than addressing the debate at hand. For example, a common strategy is for him to accuse his opponenents of being 'rednecks' or 'speaking' in a mock classic 'southern redneck' drawl ...

Bigotted: Horsell consistently attacks anyone and anything American, principally on the basis of their actual or supposed American ethnicity. ...

Polite: Most people manage to maintain a certain sense of politeness (with varying standards, admittedly) when debating in this group. Horsell is the one who is consisently rude, and consistently resorts to attacks against the persons character, their ethnic background if they happen to be American, their supposed lack of educational achievement, their supposed social class or standing or any number of other social, educational or other slurs.'

These words were directed at Mosley Jones, and not at myself.

It seems Horsell must misquote in order to create the illusion of widespread support amongst the aus.politics usenet community. What a sad, pathetic individual is this Horsell!
