Les AuCoin An Environmental Enemy? Think Again!

While reading a post at Les AuCoin’s blog, I’ve encountered a debate on the comments section.
It appears that several people are trying to place AuCoin on the dark side, claiming he has voted nine time to suspend the law of Ancient Forests Preservation.

Les has a few points. But, when it comes to “flip-flopping,” how can you beat AuCoin now claiming to be an environmentalist AFTER he voted to suspend the laws nine times for the benefit of Ancient Forest liquidation interests?

Not only this is a false statement, the opposite thing is true.
AuCoin went on to protect the spotted owl (Strix Occidentalis) by protecting the Endangered Species Act in his Senate race against Bob Packwood, who demagogued the issue.
