Makah should hunt Elian Gonzales and leave whales alone

Why not throw Elian back into the ocean and let the Makah hunt Elian. THat way the whales get left alone and Elian is out of our hair to boot.

must be. to me comapring the death of a little boy with the death of a whale is outrageous. if that makes me a specieist, then i plead guilty. i believe in human rights, but not animal rights. you see, i believe that we are stewards of nature, but that does not preclude us from enjoying the bounty of nature to eat. when conservation dictates that harvest would put a species in jeopardy for survival, i am opposed to harvest. but i don't believe animals should be afforded the same protections we have decided to give ourselves. even if you think the whales are people, i don't.

i know the original post was probably in jest, but the idea of comparing a boy and a whale really sickens me. i was going to try a funny reply, but it really saddened me that one could even think of something like that. of course, the makah wouldn't hunt elian because they are good people.

well then it must be true. i mean that would be the perfect AR fantasy.

And lets not forget that the image Richard likes is that of the Makah hunting 6 year old Cuban children instead of whales. He is a very sick puppy.
