ahhh, the unsubstantiated rumors... the bread and butter of AR propaganda.

so if the news media doesn't cover the story like the shooting at a school, they are biased?

hadn't you guys been saying he was arrested for be,ating his wife? i in no way am sticking up for this man, but just pointing out that again you AR idiots seem to not be able to tell the truth. typical, they lie and then prove it for us.

Peggy Anderson's stories are always biased

But this is a breaking story, Chris, so what comes out is what you hear. Of course if the Makah PR machine would just give out the facts and not try to cover up, there would be more accuracy.

You are a crack up Chris. I can just see you every time you use the words 'animal Rights' or 'AR'...teeth clenched, smoke coming out your ears, muscles tight, the harsh clatter of the keyboard. But I forgive you, Chris. So does Yabis, I'm sure. If you don't come around in this lifetime to peace with your fellow creatures, you will in another.

because they don't follow the AR line? you're going to have to accept that most people don't agree with the protesters on this whale hunt... the polls taken clearly show this.

ahhh, so your excuse for lying previously is that it's all the makah's PR machine's fault. oliver stone would be proud <G>.

well, i really don't need your forgiveness. as for yambis.... LOL!

yambis= yummy food <G>

a domestic violence case....breaking news, eh.....wow.....grasp at any kind of straw. Why don't you look deeper and see just how many Makah or any other Indian domestic violence cases there might be? Ahhh...but this wouldn't suit your propaganda machine if it wasn't someone connected to the whale hunt would it? It would, however, suit your racsist agenda nicely wouldn't it? With the thousands of domestic violence cases in the greater seattle metro area, I'm sure the PI would find it prudent to go after the story of one Indian. The rest of the media too, for that matter.... Why don't you play reporter and just call the police station and ask? Ohhhh.....that would destroy the 'cover up' slant wouldn't it?

I realise you think that domestic violence is inconsequential BB but to many civilised people it is truly a crime worth exposing, worth combating and worth preventing.

Sure it is. But when said 'exposure' is only a part of a smear campaign against a group of people trying to revve their culture, your concern for the man's family becomes more than a little hypocritical.

Depends. Some cultures don't recognise wife beating as being abusive behaviour. Of course, us white Anglo Saxon types don't hold with it anymore, but it is certainly less than a century since it was common practice even in our culture. In the north of England wife beating, and even incest are still reasonably common practices. How about in the Southern States?

I don't know anything about Makah culture so please don't deluge me with stuff about me defending wife beating, or projecting values onto someone else's behaviour. Remember in your own grandfather's time it was considered a shame if a man could not control his own wife! Having a woman that did not know when to keep silent was far more shameful than beating her occasionally to keep her in line.

What???

Want to count the pro-whalers on this forum, Graeme? And the 'anti-whalers'? There are two whale-worshipers on this forum; you and Rich. Plus the occasional one that stops by.

How many pro-whalers can you count in here, Graeme?
