Yet another who believes whales are GREATer than all the other animals on the planet. Where do these people get off? All animals deserve the same rights.

Don't you realise we can have both? Killing a few whales does not equal extermination!

Yes they do. People hunt fish too, which are in similar situation to the whales in that they swim around the sea, often crossing international borders. No one has ever proclaimed that no one has a right to kill fish.

So are cows and sheep and various other animals that we eat. What is your problem? When you will realise that whales have the same rights as every other animal on the planet, including us humans. Or didn't you realise that we get eaten from time to time as well?

How can you say such things with millions of livestock animals penned up on farms for their entire existence? When you will take the whales off this fake pedestal and realise that they deserve the same rights as all the other animals?

What a marvellous piece of insight. Pray tell, have you ever heard that Fish also roam the oceans just as we roam the land?

No they aren't. The dishonourable ones are those who reside at the IWC going directly in the face of the IWRC.

Wow, now that is an emotional word!

Sorry, which endangered whales are they hunting? I think someone ought to learn a few facts

busy.

How confused. The dinners are only expensive because there is a whale supply shortage. That is easily remidied however. I wonder if you would still have a problem with whale dinners if they were not so expensive? I think you probably would. I think your using the 'expensive' word is another lame emotional argument trying to make out that the only people who ever eat whales are fat business tycoons. You are totally wrong.

This has got to be the most emotional garbage I have ever read on this subject.

There is nothing arrogant about whaling - it is no different to killing fish. There is nothing wicked about whaling - people's have been doing it for hundreds, and in some cases thousands of years. There is also no slaughter. If you want to see slaughter, visit a farm here in New Zealand. Every animal on it will end up being consumed by humans. You can not say the same for the whales.

Next?
