I saw a broken limb of a tree and quickly gathered string to put it back together. In that moment I could feel the Love and appreciation emanating like a warm wave of air caressing my very Spirit.

Perhaps to some this may have looked odd acting like a nurse to this tree but if it were an animal or a human I would do the same and offer my assistance with gentle loving care.

This got me thinking why is nature treated as if it were already dead? Nature has a right to live so why does it not have rights like humans and animals?

After much research I decided to start a petition to add the "rights" of nature to the American Constitution. Just last month in Ecuador they did just that, forever changing history and saving life.

I recently became involved with Project Hot Seat through Greenpeace and the more I learn the greater my passion grows to do more, to find solutions, to be a positive influence in my family and community.

I am so thankful to that tree whom so delicately touched my heart and opened my eyes. I want Nature to have the right to live, to be free from abuse, and to live in natural peace and harmony. If you agree please visit www.thepetitionsite.com/1/naturehasarighttolive and let your voice be heard.

I am new to this site and am kind of stumbling around right now trying to find my way but I look forward to making new friends and sharing ideas.

Together we are strong and we can make a positive impact for the better good.
God Bless.
