One might ask leading in what?

UKMO's Hadley the 'Canadian' model the NCAR Community Climate Model (whatever it's called these days) the Australian CSIRO model and the NASA GISS model

To my knowledge, only the Hadley maintains public access to ongoing model runs, albeit imagery.
