Kyoto also has nothing to do with the validity of GW. It is policy and could just as easily be justified by reductions in fuel use to prevent the oil peak, as CO2 emissions. Nor is it the basis for CO2 reductions requirements. That is in the UNFCCC which the U.S. ratified and is a party to.
