He's safe and the proof is obvious:
If Graeme Butler doesn't die of stupidity, *nobody* needs to worry it.

You are a hypocrite Graeme.
You don't deserve to be able to call yourself a New Zealander

Actually, the argument is weak, thats why it is easy to overcome.
This is of course why anti-whalers resort to emotional babble. There is no coherent argument to make against sustainable use of whales
Whale meat from a non polluted ocean is healthy.
As for the polluted oceans, perhaps the so called 'environmentalists' should get their priorities straight and campaign for cleaner seas? I'm sure if they were smart about it and sold it as 'whales being killed by human pollution' it would catch on.

Don't buy Graeme's bullshit.
New Zealand takes a completely hypocritical stance. We don't just (officially) oppose whaling because we (officially) think it is cruel - we just don't want whales killed - fullstop. We are quite happy to eat cows chickens and sheep etc.
As for hunting, there is some small opposition to this. Duck shooting season has just started, with a few reports of little protestors talking about stopping 'blood sports'. It doesn't seem to matter to these morons that the ducks get eaten afterwards.
The mentality that the only food that is good to eat is farmed food is total bullshit - most of New Zealand thinks this, except because we are a nation of hypocrites we oppose whaling as well. This would be different if people had not been led to believe that 'whales are endangered' however.

Not many AFAIK
Japan kills around 500-600 for it's current research programmes, Norway kills about the same number in it's coastal whaling AFAIK
Which endangered whales?
Whenever I have looked at the numbers I have never seen anything in modern whaling that appears unsustainable.
A decade the IWC scientific committee stated that their studies indicate that 2000 minke whales could be hunted in the Southern Ocean for 100 years without harming the minke whale stock. This was a highly conservative estimate due to uncertainties in the numbers of minke

David Stevenson displays exactly the bullying tactics of pig ignorant New Zealanders foetally damaged by piss and then further brain damaged by rugby.
