I'm interested in being directed to a 'newsgroup' that will discuss over-population as an environmental issue.

TIA

The solution to overpopulation and the environmental problems is to stop the practice of immunization against disease.

I personally think this has gone to far. What makes you think over-population is an environmental problem? Sure we currently couldn't handle the numbers we will have in whatever number of years. However there are always sollutions and so much hasnt happened yet. For gods sake 80% of the earths surface is water and we still havent even moved out to sea. The idea of taking over-population and saying we cant sustain that many people and the environment at the same time is wrong. Why? Because then your saying We as a people cant accept the sollutions that we even currently have to more efectively co-exist with our environment. In all truth over-population just creates more of a neccesity to respect our environment. I do understand there is allot to be done to make it work but come on, the whole movement of fear of over-population is just people that fear loosing there lifestyle, or fear that as a people we cannot make the better choices. If your having a hard time fighting off the vision of the entire USA as one big parking lot and a beef farm. 1 remember it is a large world, 2 its still early.
