If you too have too much e-waste at home just because you were too lazy to get rid of it or because you felt bad dumping it in places that are not fit for recycling then the new program at the Best Buy stores can be good news.
You can now bring your e-waste to the store that take part in the program regardless to the place you bought it from and it would be recycled by Best Buy.
Customer pressure goes a long way apparently and I believe that if we would care enough it won’t be long before e-waste recycling would be an integral part of the services that the big stores offer the customers.
You can read more in Environmental News Bits in fact if you love environmental news as much as I do add them to your favorites.

I’m thrilled such a large company is taking such a stand to help the recycling effort. There are earth metal resources in electronics, which, if recycled, could help directly reduce the the need to mine for an equitable amount of the metals.
