A large peaceful assemblage of people gathered peacefully outside the Olympic Memorial Hospital in Port Angeles Saturday, 04-22-00, to protest the Coast Guard's abusive tactics and to show support for Erin Abbott. Erin suffered a broken clavical and cracked ribs when the CG vessel ran over her earlier in the week. Members of ODI attempted to get in to see her and check on her condition, but she was denied visitation rights and was treated as a federal prisoner. Northwest Cable News, KIRO 7, and possibly Q-13 covered the protest. Peninsula Daily News took statements. Northwest Cable News was the only crew to set up any camera and tape anything. They had prepared a statement and did not interview any of the protesters. I approached the reporter, who said she would be stationed out there for the week, and we explained the illegality of the hunt to her

'A large peaceful assembly'? What's that? 10, 20 people waving 'save the whale' banners?

Afaik, she *IS* a federal prisoner. That's what happens when you break the law.

yep, it's obvious you'd rather see many people die than one whale harvested for food. typical AR thinking.

okay, you just want people who eat animals to suffer horribly. of course, you could actually be worried about the toxins in the whales, but you just want to see people suffer because you believe in the 'whale people'. do you also want people who eat cows, fish, poultry, etc. to have horrible illnesses because they're eating an animal? should you suffer because the farms used to grow your vegan veggies displace and kill animals? you're one sick person.

They will anyway irregardless of what I want.

>should you

Will I have consequences due to this? Probably. Karma. Suffering is a part of life.
