Depleted Uranium is 238 - with all 235 gone. This menas it is the most stable variety of Ur.

Half life of 5-billion yrs. The age of the Earth. Such material is totally safe. Note that Ur is a solid metal - not a gas, no-one is breathing it in.

Depeleted Uranium is a usefull item to pierce tanks with. It is totally safe. You could make all your funtiure and house out of Ur and still have perfect health.

5,000,000 yrs as a long time for an element to decay by 1/2.
