No ding dong. I worked with a woman from Madras for a couple years. She had a privleged upbringing, arranged marriage and went to school in Chicago. She used to talk about the plight of the Indian people. Muslims, Sikkh, Hindi and what have you. She stopped short of saying what she thought was needed until one day I tentatively mentioned that maybe some form of communism might help. She brightened immediately. She had been reluctant to say that because we both lived in Miami at the time and you didn't say things like that with all the ex-Cubans nearby. And from Roger's post on misery, I thought of her ideas. Sounds like that is needed more than looking for a handout from the west. From the article, it would appear more like there are climate bitching groups more than any self action to cure a few things.
