Funny thing. There are 3 results from analyzing the MSU time series. Two produce a warming trend similar to that seen in the surface record. The other by S & C indicates a trend more than half as large. The S & C result shows the greatest warming occurring at high latitudes in the Northern hemisphere. The MSU data is not impacted by the small areas covered by urban development. In any case, the warming is seen far north of the major urban areas.

Next you'll quote the institute of creation research to 'prove' evolution is

Hmmm. How? With a footprint of 100+ kilometers and a resolution of about 0.5C (I'm being generous) how exactly are satellites supposed to show the UHI? You do know that they don't even measure the temperature, let alone the surface skin temperature? You do know that the skin temperature is not the same as the screen temperature?

Both rural and urban records agree, because there is little to distinguish between them.

Oh, I don't know. You might actually talk to the experts in the field, and I'm not talking about a PhD at some university. You might actually talk to the people who live there and find out what they think, especially since they have a long and rich oral tradition. They say that changes are taking place. Big changes.
