If you are then you’re in better condition than I am and in fact in better condition than many other Americans who care for the green issues and are trying to  understand who is the best candidate in term of the ecological policies.

Climate progress has done a lot of research on the question of the best candidate for the environment and come up with the seemingly surprising conclusion that it is Obama and not McCain who is treated as more green by the media.

I personally feel that every person thinks about the needs of the plant in one way or another it is just the perspective and the self-perception that leads them to different conclusions.

When McCain is interested in the power and independence of the American economy he searches for the more concrete goals of nuclear power, the ability to create the energy we need without being dependent on anyone else and other ideas that come from similar place.

Obame is less tense on the whole America’s response to the climate changes but focuses on the needs of the planet more. A perfect candidate would be possibly a combination of the two someone that sees the realities for what it is and takes the best economic steps for the American economy and someone that understands the needs of the planet and solves things by creating more balance between the lives of the people and the earth on which they live.

On the long run the solution that comes from the wider perspective is usually the one that works best, but the local decisions have to be made as well and McCain is probably the businessman that can make them while Obama would help bring more very needed balance to the system as a whole.
