I enjoyed your site Jeff, particularly the opening quote by Blake and many of the factiods.

However, it is usually not a good idea to feed wild animals such a squirrel (as in the picture you have there). I know it's a cute picture, and if you feed your backyard squirrels all yearround it may be OK, but to do it in the wild is a no-no. Usually what is fed to animals is inferior to their natural diet. And you may cause an animal not to migrate when it should and then starve, or not to stow away food for the winter and likewise starve. Remember, if you set up a feeding station at your house for squirrils or birds, thses creaures may come to depend on you for food, then you must ensure that you supply them constantly. Otherwise, just enjoy, but don't feed.
