what is being done against the dolphin slaughter in the fishing town of Taiji in southern Japan?

It seems there's not much done right now since the "fishing" season ended on March. There's a coalition of a few groups that is working on it. It is called: savejapandolphins.org. What they try to do now is change the Japanese view by trying to get as many Japanese as possible to watch the documentary about the slaughter, "The cove".
